“It has been my pleasure to have worked with Green Source Construction on many projects over the years, all of which have benefited from their creative problem solving skills, attention to detail, and lean budget adaptability. Just a few examples that illustrate the wide range of scale and complexity in which they are comfortable:
· The Eclectic Center (Bradshaw at Folsom) – a very complex reinvention of a 50 year old run down commercial strip center into a wildly exuberant expressionistic adventure – all accomplished while the existing building was occupied.
· The Structural Steel for earthquake stability, stairs, and far reaching exterior canopies for the historic B&G building at the corner of 11th and R. Their role in this project included highly complex structural frames, very challenging construction staging of un-reinforced brick walls, and crafts-manlike field steel installation and fabrication – all of which is exposed as part of the finish design statement for the newly opened restaurant and office tenants.
· The Building Remodel and Tenant Improvements for the Birkenstock Midtown building at 2612 J Street – pulled together on a very aggressive schedule with their mastery of steel again highlighted in the beautiful details of the showroom.
· Design/Build including the original idea to create a freestanding ‘steel podium’ that effectively creates usable parking from what was formerly site mounted mechanical equipment (1401 21st).
